Includes working doors, airstairs, night lighting, moving control surfaces, fan blades, rolling wheels, and thrust reversers, 3D gear bays, and transparent semi-photoreal textures.

Instructions

Simply unzip this package into your main FS2002 folder. It will create two aircraft, one in the livery of AUSTRAL and the other in the livery of AEROLINEAS ARGENTINAS.

Door Operation

To open the passenger and cargo doors, press "shift+e." To extend/retract the forward airstairs, press "shift+e" then quickly press "2."

Known Issues

When the aircraft is viewed from a distance, there sometimes is a line near the middle of the fuselage where the forward and aft textures meet. This is due to mip mapping. I am STILL experimenting with ways to correct this issue. It seems to go away when FS is run in full screen at a high resolution.

Design History

The basic model was created by Eric C. Johnson. Since then, Dee Waldron has made several updates with AF99. I have completely rebuilt the aircraft using FSDS. No part of the aircraft has been left untouched! The new model uses parts obtained from other aircraft. The rudder is from Brian Quayle's DC-9-15, and the nose and vertical fin extension are from the Esa Kaihlanen/Kim Simmelink MD-90 AFX from Free Flight Design Shop.

Cost

The only cost to you is that you drop me a line and let me know what you like, don't like or would like to see improved.
